John Dascanio

John Dascanio graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1988 and subsequently completed an internship and residency at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. He is a diplomate of the American College of Theriogenology and the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, Equine Specialty.
He spent most of his career at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine providing clinical service in equine ambulatory and theriogenology. He is the co-editor of the text Equine Reproductive Procedures, Wiley Blackwell, 2021. He is currently the Senior Associate Dean for Academic and Student Affairs and a Professor of Theriogenology at Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine.
