Anna Toenissen

Anna graduated as a veterinarian from the University of Veterinary Medicine in Hannover, Germany in 2012. Her doctorate entitled “Transabdominal ultrasonography during advanced gestation in horses to perform fetal gender determination with special consideration of practicability and repeatability of the examination technique” was awarded in 2016 and this was followed by employment at the Lusche veterinary clinic with a focus on equine reproduction. Returning to the Unit for Animal Reproduction in Hannover, she now works as a Research Assistant and Veterinary Assistant, specialising in equine reproduction. Anna is a Diplomate of the European College for Equine Reproduction.
